Death Practice Workshop
Old Ways Ceremonies is preparing to bring Death Practice Workshops to our community. Participants will explore how death is not the opposite of life, but the last great experience of a life. Just as a partner of a pregnant parent will attend birthing classes, the living may attend a Death Practice Workshop. Please check back for event details in the near future!
Vow Writing Workshops
It can feel hard to start when it comes to writing your vows. The expectations to make them perfect or the thought of sharing them publicly can block our way. This workshop will reassure you, in the friendly company of other couples in your position, that you are truly up to the task and that writing them can be fun, easy, and help you refocus on the purpose of your ceremony.
In this live online course, hosted on Zoom, you will spend an hour and a half with owner Zach and your fellow participants going over the following information:

What vows are and are not

A basic structure to work from

Many samples vows that blow that structure out of the water

Prompts for you to work from

Opportunities to share bits of your love story to help access your vow writing emotions
I promise, it will be fun and empowering. This is a rare opportunity for you to let go of the stress of planning all of the details surrounding your wedding day and refocus on the purpose of your wedding and the heart of your ceremony.
